The beef arm roast comes from the chuck cut of the cow. Chuck is best when braised, pan-broiled or grilled.

INGREDIENTS

3-pound beef chuck shoulder roast

3/4 cup brewed coffee

1 red bell pepper, chopped

1 yellow onion, chopped

8 oz sliced mushrooms

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add vegetables to bottom of slow cooker and then place meat on top. Add the coffee, Worcestershire sauce, red wine vinegar, and spices.

  2. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours.

  3. Carefully remove the meat from the pot, and stir in the cream cheese. Slice cream cheese and add one slice at a time slowly to make sure the sauce is as smooth as possible.

1 tsp garlic powder, or 4-5 chopped cloves

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

3 Tbsp red wine vinegar

4 oz cream cheese (to add at the end, best if it's room temp)
